The rifle is equipped with a stock that boasts a high, flat comb and a traditional checkering pattern for both aesthetic appeal and functionality. True to CZ's commitment to quality, the 457 includes an 11mm dovetail milled into the receiver for easy scope ring-mount attachment.

One of the major updates in the CZ 457 is the inclusion of an American-style push-to-fire safety, a feature that was notably absent in earlier rimfire models. This addition, while significant, is just one of many improvements. The rifle’s action has been shortened by nearly an inch and given a slab-sided design, making it more compact and reducing overall weight.

CZ has also upgraded the rifle’s bottom metal, replacing the stamped design found in the 455 with a refined two-piece interlocking system for added durability and class. To enhance scope compatibility, the 457 now features a 60° bolt rotation, replacing the previous 90° rotation. This adjustment allows for larger ocular bell diameters and lower ring heights for better scope fitment. Additionally, the 457 comes equipped with a fully adjustable trigger, allowing users to fine-tune weight, creep, and over-travel for a more personalized shooting experience.

With the same swappable barrel system as the 455 and the proven polymer magazine system, the CZ 457 is undoubtedly the best rimfire platform CZ has ever produced.
