The 6.5×47 Lapua case has a base diameter and loading length similar to the .308 Win. case, allowing it to accept the same bolt heads and fit into similar firearm actions and rifle magazines. Lapua’s 6.5×47 case is also the parent case of several popular wildcats, and is frequently necked down to 6mm. This modification allows the 6.5×47 brass to fulfill an even greater range of hunting, varminting or target shooting applications, aided by Lapua’s versatile selection of Scenar projectiles. Lapua’s 6.5×47 case takes the Small Rifle Primer (SRP). It is available in the new cardboard 100 pcs Lapua brass box. The brand new case box has been designed to keep Lapua brass in pristine condition during shipping, ensuring that your reloading experience is on the best level.
Due to the continued high product demand and the prevailing market conditions impacted especially by the Ukraine situation, the availability of some of our products is unfortunately limited and delivery times have become extended. To better serve our civilian and military obligations, some of our components will be temporarily suspended from production, including the 6.5×47 Lapua. This is due to prioritizing production lines. For our consumer customers, it means that some Lapua products will probably be out of stock in many places in the world for some time to come. This doesn’t mean that we are cancelling any products. It is our intention to resume production of these products as soon as market conditions stabilize. We’re also taking necessary steps at our production sites to improve production capabilities with e.g. new production lines installed during 2023 and 2024. We work as hard as we can every day on all of our sites to produce high-quality ammo and components for you and aim to serve you at normal levels as soon as possible.
