Description
  • The Action (Martini):Martini Cadet receiver. The single-shot falling block lever action is renowned for its strength, excellent lock time, and rigid construction, making it an excellent platform for highly accurate small-bore wildcats.
  • The Caliber (.218 Mashburn Bee): This is an "Improved" variant of the factory .218 Bee. Created by gunsmith Art Mashburn, the chamber design reduces case taper and blows the shoulder out to a sharper angle. This increases powder capacity and bumps velocities by roughly 10% to 15% (an extra 150–200 fps) while improving overall brass life. Fire-formed cases are usually created simply by firing standard factory .218 Bee ammunition directly in the custom chamber.
  • The Barrel: A modern 24-inch stainless steel barrel provides an optimal balance for standard small-caliber velocity while offering maximum corrosion resistance and thermal stability during longer strings of target shooting.
  • The Stock (Extra Fancy Schuetzen Style): "Extra Fancy" denotes premium, highly-figured walnut or premium hardwood featuring intricate grain patterns. The Schuetzen style pays homage to traditional 19th-century German target rifles, typically featuring a distinctively deep cheekpiece, a high comb, an ergonomic pistol grip with a thumb rest, and a curved buttplate to anchor the rifle firmly into the shooter's shoulder for precision offhand or bench shooting.
  • Optics Rail: A pre-installed Weaver rail allows for simple, robust mounting of modern high-magnification varmint or target scopes.
