This rifle is unfired, in 95% condition, with only a few very fine handling marks.

Production: Approximately 69,996 units were manufactured.
Markings: The barrel is inscribed with "Golden Spike Commemorative," and the left side of the receiver features a railroad spike with the dates "1869" and "1969".
Receiver & Tang: The receiver is gold-plated, and the upper tang is inscribed with "Oceans United By Rail".
Serial Number: The serial number features a "GS" prefix (e.g., GS17625).
Stock: The buttstock has an official U.S. Mint-struck commemorative medallion embedded on the right side.
Stock Configuration: Straight grip stock and forearm made of American walnut.
