This rifle is unfired, in 95% condition, with only a few very fine handling marks.

- Markings:Â The barrel is inscribed with "Golden Spike Commemorative," and the left side of the receiver features a railroad spike with the dates "1869" and "1969".
- Receiver & Tang:Â The receiver is gold-plated, and the upper tang is inscribed with "Oceans United By Rail".
- Serial Number:Â The serial number features a "GS" prefix (e.g., GS17625).
- Stock:Â The buttstock has an official U.S. Mint-struck commemorative medallion embedded on the right side.
- Stock Configuration:Â Straight grip stock and forearm made of American walnut.Â
These rifles were designed for commemoration rather than active hunting, and they function the same as a standard Model 94 of the same era.
